Scrapbook history of Troop 3 of Smithtown, 1913-1916, compiled by Eric Harbauer, including a typescript history of the Troop, list of scoutmasters, photographs, charter applications, letters, awards, and clippings. Another scrapbook has charters and rosters of members of Troop 3, 1939-1977, with gaps. Records of Troop 7, St. James, N.Y., 1944-1949, include minutes of Troop Committee meetings, treasurer's reports, reports of the Troop Board of Review, list of scouts and miscellaneous letters about Troop business, plus a humorous "Verbatim Record of Minutes of Troop Committee Meetings of January 25, 1945." Also, photocopies of the records of the History Committee of the Suffolk County Council, Boy Scouts of America, Phyllis Stein and Alvin J. Blake, co-chairs. Records include minutes, agendas, address lists, memoranda, letters, and other material used in preparing a history of scouting in Suffolk County, 1985-1987.
